Role Overview
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager who will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and successfully delivering IT projects while ensuring effective collaboration between the technical team and the customer.
Our projects involve the use of QGIS for geospatial data management and map-based visualization. Therefore, the ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of technical processes, be able to translate business requirements into actionable tasks, and coordinate their implementation.
This role involves managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, including both delivery and customer-side teams, while ensuring alignment on timelines, priorities, resources, and project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full project lifecycle, from initiation through successful delivery;
- Plan and oversee project scope, timelines, resources, dependencies, and execution;
- Coordinate and lead a delivery team of 10+ specialists;
- Facilitate effective collaboration with customer-side teams, aligning priorities, approaches, timelines, and deliverables;
- Conduct regular status meetings, prepare project reports, and manage risks and changes;
- Define and assign tasks to technical specialists, analysts, DevOps engineers, developers, QA engineers, and other project stakeholders;
- Ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and contractual commitments;
- Participate in requirements gathering and clarification, translating business needs into clear and actionable tasks;
- Coordinate projects involving geospatial visualization tools, including QGIS;
- Identify and resolve project blockers while maintaining transparent communication across all stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Technical Project Manager in IT projects;
- Higher education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field;
- Proven experience managing projects involving delivery teams of more than 10 people and collaboration with dedicated customer-side teams;
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC);
- Experience managing technical teams and coordinating multiple workstreams within a single project;
- Ability to work with technical documentation, project plans, backlogs, risks, and dependencies;
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to structure tasks, priorities, and communication between business and technical stakeholders;
- Understanding of technical solutions involving data visualization platforms and mapping technologies;
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills;
- Strong sense of ownership, proactive mindset, and decision-making ability.
Optional:
- Experience with QGIS or other Geographic Information Systems (GIS);
- Experience managing projects with complex integrations or sophisticated technical architectures;
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid project management methodologies;
- Experience preparing project reporting for customers and senior management;
- Understanding of data management, analytics platforms, or infrastructure-related solutions.
