Modernization of server IT infrastructure

For further expansion, the company needed to modernise its IT infrastructure, as much of the Client’s server hardware was outdated equipment with an expired life cycle, there was a severe shortage of computing and disc resources, and there was no centralised backup system.

After a thorough analysis of the existing IT infrastructure, we created an IT architecture that fulfills all the technical requirements:

– high local availability of business applications is provided,

– effective mechanisms for administration and monitoring have been implemented,

– a mechanism has been laid for upgrading the complex to the level of a disaster-proof solution with automation capabilities.

The HPE Synergy 12000 Composable Infrastructure and HPE 3PAR StoreServ 8000 Disk Array play a key role in the solution. The required level of disk subsystem performance is achieved thanks to a well-configured 3PAR StoreServ 8000 disk array with hardware ASIC, which includes both classical disks and high-speed SSD drives. The hardware basis of the backup subsystem was the HPE StoreOnce disk library with support for deduplication of the stored data.

A successful transfer of the Customer’s key business applications to new equipment was implemented, and the time of unavailability of business applications was minimised.
